Tooty’s Frooty’s Tips & Planning Your Party or Event

After deciding to use Tooty Frooty to entertain at your party or event, rest easy that in choosing her you have a highly regarded entertainer who is insured, but more significantly enthusiastic and clued-up with children.

·         Choose your date carefully. Avoid clashing with other events (school fairs, other parties, holidays, etc)

·         Book me in advance as I do get booked-up early. To book either use the contact form on the website or Call:

0845 189 9866 Local Call Rate Or Mobile:  07956 444 049

·         When you send out your invitations early remember to ask the parents for details of any allergies or special diet requirements to be included on the RSVP section. Tooty Frooty has worked at many parties where some children cannot eat the food due to allergies or religious reasons.

·         Make a list of who has replied and use to check off the guests when they arrive at the party.

·         Why not Print-Off Tooty Frooty’s  6 Week Checklist to assist your party planning and keep it on the fridge.

At The Party

·         Secure balloons to the front door to direct your guests to the party

·         Put aside party horns, squeakers and balloons until after the magic show

·         As you tick-off your guests arriving at the party get a contact number from the parents who are not staying in case of an urgent situation

·         Stick name badges on each guest - your child will know everyone but you may not.

·         Bring extra bags to the party so that you can take the birthday gifts home effortlessly.

·         Try and persuade the parents to leave, the ones who do stay are inclined to chat too loudly at the back of the room which can  be off putting for both Tooty Frooty and could spoil the show for the children.

·         Do ensure that a responsible adult remains in the room or hall at all times; Tooty Frooty follows The Equity Children’s Code Of Conduct which points out her as being there as a professional to entertain and not to act as a child minder

·         Children tend to hang around for a party bag at the end of the party. If you are on a budget they aren’t necessary simply put a piece of birthday cake and a Tooty Frooty card into each bag. Alternatively go to my Links Page to where you will find some party suppliers.

Don’t Forget

·         Batteries and film for the camera

·         Matches to light the cake, the cake!

·         Kitchen roll for spillages, wipes for sticky hands and faces

·         Plenty of refuse sacks for all the rubbish!

“Remember - The most successful parties are those which are well organised”
